Her sales associate gave her an estimated arrival date for her furniture, and it’s a good month before she is due… so all is great! At least it should be right? ... But 4 weeks later she found out her furniture is unexpectedly on back order? One of the biggest frustrations for both you as a customer and us as a store, is dealing with unexpected delays. Occasionally this can occur, usually way after the order has been placed to say the least! Many things can cause delay on furniture; the first one and most important is within the manufacturer’s control. For all we know, there might be quality control problems or miscalculations on the supply. Any significant miscalculations can cause back orders for up to 4 months. We hope you know our best interest is for you to get your furniture right when you need it. To avoid any frustrations and headaches, follow the next hints to make your dream nursery come true quick and painless.

1. A lot of companies ask us to quote based on a 6-12 wks scale. (up to 3 months) The more time on your side available, the less worries you will have.

2. Have a back up plan! Picking a bassinet, cradle or mini-crib to use for the 1st couple of weeks. Doing so, could save you time in case any problems arise with your furniture order.

3. If you must order your furniture do it! But take advantage of our furniture in stock. 80% of the time, we have full collections available for you to buy and take with you the same day.

4. Have an open mind! Remember we have different styles of furniture, in a wide variety of colors and prices. One of our great sale associates will help you find one that matches your décor or style.

5. Want to use excisting furniture back at home to match a crib? Bring a drawer with you or a small piece to match colors.
